Email Issues - Fixed

Dear All,

Around 1pm today we became aware of an issue with our email system.

This was found to be a file store that was set to read only. This is likely to have happened when the system automatically corrected itself after a failure.

At 1.35pm we we able to bring the store back in to read/write mode and mail has started to flow correctly.

So Mail server being blacklisted

We are currently aware that our So Mail Server is on a blacklist due to spam, we have found the culprits within the network and have blocked them.

Unfortunately we now have to wait to be released from other mailservers.

We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and are pushing to get released.

Email Issues - Fixed

Dear All,

We have now located the issue with our email system.

The portion of the setup that handles the file sharing for the SAN (the place where we store all the emails) had failed. This equipment has now been reset and email is flowing correctly.

Mail Issues

Dear All,

At around 7.30 this morning the connection that the mailservers use to store their data broke resulting in the loss of our email service.

We are currently investigating the issue and will restore service as swiftly as we can.

Network issues resolved again!

Dear all,

We have now stabilised the network and it has been running well for the last few hours.

We are continuing to analyse the events of today and a full response will come over the next few days.

Network Issues - Resolved

Dear all,

We have now identified the network issue that we experienced earlier. The network is now stable and service is running correctly.

We would like to apologise for the outage but have we been able to identify the network segment the problem occurred on and have put steps in place to protect against it happening again.
